quotes Hey Skippy - thats EXACTLY why we built these - this area is the main spectator area (2min walk from the finish) and is the prime area for spectators as well as the camera positions - The UCI wants riding to look spectacular on Camera so we have put these in so the top guys will be doing in the region of 50km/h when they hit these and it will look insane on TV and still shots.

quotes the boost line is a bit out of the way so we may reshape this jump once we have tested it. Will keep you posted

quotes hahahahaha i was waiting for this comment to come out! hahaha Guys ... i wont lie Mr Min has driven around twice to have a look at the course BUT has had very little input. I have been in contact with 6 of the top pros overseas to get advice on what to do in the pedal section. The course is being designed so that ANYONE can win. Just remember that in 2009 everyone thought that the course didnt suit flat pedals but Hill still got a 5th and was on the pace. In comparison to the courses in Europe (Which are generally ALL hosted in the Alps) SA doesnt have mountains like that but the overall elevation drop is on par with many of the WC Tracks (eg Windam). It will be an ALL Riders course - you will need to be good at tech rocks, steep stuff, jumping, and pedalling. Its not just a single type track which is just steep and gnarly - you need to be an OVERALL RACER to do well here.

quotes @sup3rc0w - this approach is actually the landing from a 13m right hand hip as well so it will be VERY interesting - we have just built in a very tech rock section and off camber just above these jumps so the course will be fast and interesting all the way down.

quotes Guys and Girls - please note - this is just the last 30 sec of the +/- 3.30 course. We have designed it to incorporate a bit of EVERYTHING .... rocks, roots, steep stuff, off cambers, jumps, and some pedalling (which wont be as much as last year) Stay tuned for my next up load which i am busy with no for the top section.
